It is much more difficult to judge oneself than to judge others.
If you succeed in judging yourself rightly, then you are indeed a man of true wisdom.

Feral looking for new work
2010-03-24
Arex is your man when it comes to Boomkin and I am sure he will come back with some useful info, although, I think some is either in the stickied post at the top of the page or in a post probably about three pages in. I am in work so I don't get to give my posts my undivided attention and therefore cannot go searching too hard
The thing that I can suggest if you don't already have it is Squawk-and-awe as from I can gather is the most useful addon available.
edit: the other thing that sticks in my head is haste to 400 and then crit (if hit capped of course) but again Arex is the ...
PvP Gear at 70, where to get?
2010-03-11
I know I wont get a full set of gear, but the shorter I have to be amongst the hopeless trash of Random BG's the better.
Furthermore, I am not in any way a PvP expert so I cant really judge how good/bad an item is.
I'm playing the occasional pre made for PvP, because those you actually use tactics.
Also, what lvl of resillience/hp should I aim for?
And what gear is best for that without gimping my dps?- God Emperor of Hunters and Priest Forum Mean Person.

Pet Intervene macro(s)
2010-02-26
Hey, all. I've been trying to get my new gorilla's Intervene on a macro, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
showtooltip
/cast Intervene [target: player]
That should work, but it doesn't. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. Either you use something other than /cast for pet abilities, or I'm targeting wrong. Can anyone help me with tales are more than true: not because
they tell us dragons exist, but because they tell us
that dragons can be beaten."

NEW! WoW Preview - 4/29/03
2009-11-09
SUMMARY:
Net.Gamer consults the oracle on Warcraft's leap into the world of the massively multiplayer RPG. Beards and all...

You'll be able to create incredible heroes in WoW, complete with jazzy costumes...

What we've seen of World of Warcraft suggests it could be the game to end EverQuest's dominance in the fantasy MMORPG arena. Blizzard, creator of Diablo, Starcraft and Warcraft, has a justified reputation for beautifully crafted games. In WoW, the company is taking its fantasy universe and crafting a huge online RPG.
For Blizzard, online role-playing is new development territory - and represents a stiff design challenge. Still, the company's cheerful visionary chief Bill Roper, who came to our offices recently to talk about his new games, is confident about Blizzard's approach to the development of a massively multiplayer role-playing game.
"One of the things World of Warcraft will address is that relationship with the community," he explains. "We want to be more responsive than anyone else, which will be a lot of work, because there are a lot of games out there that are very responsive. But we recognise more than ever before that World of Warcraft is going to be a living organism. We've always had a lot of support for our games - and we interact with the community - but it's going to be a 24/7 job with World of Warcraft. We're going to be running a team with the project; that's going to be their sol...
Weekly PC Sales: Empire Total War Dominates, Warhammer Online Resurfaces
2009-10-20
Marketing research firm NPD has issued its weekly list of the ten best-selling PC games at United States retailers, this one covering the first week of March.
That week saw the debut of The Creative Assembly's historical strategy game Empire: Total War, which also topped the chart for digital distribution site Direct2Drive. Mythic's Warhammer Online also reappeared, probably due to a lowered average price.
As NPD's figures do not include digital distribution, you'll find Direct2Drive's corresponding list of PC...
I AM 8-BIT, Los Angeles' Largest Group Art Show, Returns on August 14
2009-10-15
I AM 8-BIT (www.iam8bit.com), voted by LA Weekly as "Best Art Show," returns for its fourth installment this summer. The annual group art exhibition will have its grand opening extravaganza on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery in Hollywood, California from 8 p.m. to Midnight. The show will run until September 7.

Launched in April 2005, I AM 8-BIT quickly became LA's largest group art event, culling inspiration from the many characters and worlds of classic 80's videogames. "Mario, Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Sonic are just as iconic as The Beatles to our generation," says I AM 8-BIT founder and curator, Jon M. Gibson. "They are our childhood heroes, our babysitters, our most awesome fantasies - and it's amazing to see how wildly and diversely artists choose to interpret them, because every experience is a personal one."

Over one hundred artists are contributing to this year's I AM 8-BIT, the show's largest contingent yet, with a roster of established street and underground talent being added to the mix. "I was a fan of I AM 8-BIT because it was the one art show in LA that strived to incorporate a wide variety of artists, from pop painters to animators to graphic designers," says curator Derek Puleston. "This year, we've tried hard to enlist new-to-the-scene artists. I AM 8-BIT has always been about breath and quality of work - not credentials - because ultimately, it's about great visual storytelling, not fame."

The fourth annual I AM 8-BIT will feature work from over 100 artists, including Joe Ledbetter, Scott C, Jim Mahfood, Ashley Wood, Amanda Visell, Jose Emroca Flores, Luke Chueh, Bigfoot, Yoskay Yamamoto, Kofie One, Angry Woebots, Gerald de Jesus, Tessar Lo, Gabe Swarr, Jorge R. Gutierrez, Carlos Ramos, Joe Vaux, Joe Shea, B...
WoW 2.4 downtime claims even more time
2009-10-09
Unless you've been completely ignoring MMO news lately, you know that World of Warcraft has been gearing up for its final large content patch before the release of their upcoming expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. This morning, after much watching and many cups of coffee, they announced that 2.4 was indeed releasing today. With it comes a plethora of new content, gear, and much more. Of course, as many veterans to Blizzard's patch-day hijinks expected, 2.4 has claimed i...
Article Marketing Strategy - Select Only The Best Directories And Ezines
2009-09-25
Writing and marketing articles online is probably the most effective, most cost-effective way to publicize your website, and promote your products and services online. The Web is a printing press with an insatiable appetite for articles written by experts. There are literally millions of websites and ezines that are begging for good articles. They want people to submit good articles to them. They even search sites on the web for permission to use articles.

So, how do you know which sites to select?

Through my years of experience, and many conversations with the top Internet Marketers, in order to have the greatest impact, you need to use a 3-tiered article marketing approach targeting:

1. The major article directories like Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, Ideamarketers.com and Articledashboard.com
2. Smaller niche directory sites that are related to your content
3. Niche ezine and website publishers who need and want quality related content that will add value to their website or email newsletter audience

My consulting clients ask me many times, ?What is the best way to find ezines and websites that are the most read so ...
Should there be a WoW killer?
2009-09-15
First off, this post is not part of giant campaign to promote World of Warcraft, Age of Conan or any other game. This post is based on two things: a recent opinion piece at MMOCrunch regarding AoC's "demise", and an eyebrow-lifting quote from Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime that says "40% of the World of Warcraft subscribers that left for Age of Conan have since returne...
Free Realms Chef Guide: Why be a chef, and how to harvest
2009-08-29

Chefs in Free Realms enjoy the hard work of gathering ingredients, preparing and cooking them, and then finally enjoy the fruits of their labor. Get the "scoop" on how to prepare and make useful foods as a chef here.

GA_googleFillSlot("BH_VideoGames_MMOMMORPGGaming_ATF_Body_LargeRectangle_336x280");

What is a chef?

In Free Realms, a chef is a gatherer and a crafter. Unlike blacksmiths (a member only class), who must obtain their materials from miners, chefs obtain most of their own materials from gathering ingredients. Chefs then turn those ingredients into special food by cooking them. No matter what level chef you are, you specialize in making delicious, useful food for the citizens of Free Realms.

Why be a chef?

Quite simply, the main reason to be a chef in Free Realms is to make great food for you and your friends. The food that you can make can do a variety of things: increase your stats, attack, range, speed, power, health, and energy. There are also foods that can make you lar...
